When I was seven years old
just learning how to read, my Mom encouraged my older sister to take me
to a public library for the first time.
While my sister Linda was off studying nuclear fission, she pointed me in the direction of biographies and autobiographies. It opened amazing new worlds for me. After graduating from college in 1972 and teaching a few years at Elgin High School in Elgin, Illinois, I once again looked to the library to open new worlds and a new career. It took me time to find all of the right materials but I finally learned how to hypnotize other people and eventually began a career as a stage hypnotist, hypnotherapist and trainer that has now spanned over three decades. In that time I have trained or helped trained thousands of hypnotists located in almost every country in the world. It all began with one public library.
